This a site that is about the recent past, the now and the future.
VR, The Metaverse, Spatial Computing … Whatever we call it today, has been coming for a long time. But it feels much closer now. How it will intersect with generative AI - giving us the ability to generate the right UI and the right time in the space around us - and scarce digital goods, will be the most interesting intersection in tech for at least the next decade.
I think these three things will come to overlap completely, intertwined in a way that becomes almost invisible, the same way we stopped thinking about the GUI being a thing that was added to an Operating System a long time ago. This will be a continuation of what’s already been happening around us for some time - the most valuable companies, the places we spend our time and increasingly the things we spend our money on are real, but do not exist in the physical world as atoms, only bits. Each of them as … no mass … and this blog will cover them.
